Amun Ra Tarot

I have just discovered (or, rather, I have just had pointed out to me) the Amun Ra Tarot – a deck in progress by RF Savage. I’m not going to post any images here for fear of stepping on anyone’s copyrighted toes, but I urge you to – nay, insist that you – visit the site.
Be warned. There is nudity, and fire, and lots of pointy-looking teeth. I suppose you could consider some images disturbing…but don’t. To do so would be to deny yourself the joy of studying the meticulous details and vibrant colours in each card, which would be a crime.
It’s a bit Thothy (quite a lot Thothy actually), and maybe also a bit Cosmic Taroty, but mostly it’s very Amun Ra-y. The creator admits it will probably take decades to complete. I say, you’ve got 21 cards already…publish us a majors-only version and that should keep us happy for a while (though, probably not until you’re a hundred).

Archer Tarot 
Yes, it’s an interesting, kind of 1960s trippy deck, in some ways, but with a lot more detail, and some really interesting ideas. Too bad about the glacial pace of work. I’ve been checking it every few months over the past two years. I suspect I’ll be dead before it appears, and that could make purchasing a final copy rather awkward.
LOL…let’s hope he gets a sudden burst of energy then. 🙂
Damn, I had never heard of this deck and now look what you’ve gone and done. You got me in a Libran tizzy you did. “Oh, I like that one — that one too, I like this deck, I must have it. Ooops, no don’t like that card, ick. Gawd, it’s very colourful, isn’t it? Wish Archer had warned me that I needed my sunglasses on to view it…….gosh that card is awful. Oh my, that card is beautiful, this deck is awesome, the detail is phenomenal……..” And on and on it went, I got myself quite dizzy.

I love this deck but the website is down, do you know of any other place to see it? I just saw the few on aeclectic
